Pilots:

 

Their mission: The pilot is a manager of air transportation whose vocation involves planning, organizing, directing and controlling the airplane's flight, as either a captain or a co-pilot, in order to ensure that the transportation of our passengers or the cargo we carry is done with optimal comfort and safety.

 

Candidate profile:

   Leadership and ability to make decisions

   Stress tolerance and ability to maintain a calm attitude in emergency situations

 

Working conditions:

A profession that requires spending long hours standing or sitting, often in a confined space. An erratic work schedule often involving evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Work that is done under pressure. A profession requiring a lot of travelling and many extended stays away from home.

 

Training:

   A DCS in flying airplanes or the equivalent

   A commercial pilot licence and the endorsements necessary to perform their duties

   A minimum of 2,000 hours of flight, in all

   A minimum of 1,000 hours as pilot-in-command on multi-engine aircraft with passengers

   Experience on turbines will be considered an asset.

 

 

Flight Attendant:

 

Their mission :  Ensure the comfort and safety of the passengers who board our aircraft.

 

Candidate profile:

   Canadian citizenship and holder of a valid Canadian passport

   Focused upon customer service

   Capable of team work

   Sense of responsibility

   Perfectly bilingual

   Professional attitude and conduct

   Stress tolerance

   Communications skills

 

Working conditions:

The flight attendant performs their role on the ground, in the air and in accordance with the schedules and specific needs of each flight. Their presence is also required periodically at the company's offices on different bases to take care of certain administrative aspects, notably, meetings and training sessions.

 

Training:

   Holder of a college or equivalent diploma.

   Relevant training in the position in accordance with the regulatory requirements in force. This training is often offered by NOLINOR AVIATION.

 

 

Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic:

 

Their mission : our mechanics are responsible for various types of maintenance activities on all the components of our aircraft, and this, in compliance with the strictest safety rules.

 

Candidate profile:

   Canadian citizenship and holder of a valid passport

   Capable of team work

   Very developed sense of responsibility

   Available to travel

   Stress tolerance

   Professional attitude and conduct

 

Working conditions:

The mechanic performs their duties in the workshop, on the runway, in the air or on NOLINOR's other bases in accordance with the company's contracts, schedules and needs.

 

Training:

   Holder of a aircraft maintenance college diploma

   Vocational training that depends upon the job requirements (e.g. The purpose of confirming such training is to acquire the appropriate certification).

 

Compensation varies as a function of several factors related to experience, training, isolation and other variables that our salary scales take into account.
