A safety pioneer

Safety is a major concern at Nolinor Aviation, and we are quick to comply with new regulations. Our team was the first in Canada to meet Phase 1 requirements for a Safety Management Systems (SMS), which would detect risks before they turn into serious problems. Transport Canada regulations require the aviation industry to implement this added protection and Safety Management Systems (SMS) are now a prerequisite for all companies offering commercial flights. Nolinor has also obtained Phase 2, 3, and 4 certification for its SMS. It is worth noting that, because of its extensive experience, Nolinor was the first in the history of Canadian civil aviation to have its complete SMS approved.

Nolinor’s safety policy of goals and objectives was implemented and adopted by the entire team. All company employees were trained in the SMS, because the success of this type of system depends on the involvement of all team members in each department, along with management.
